Leaving the home bin unchanged records the item as misplaced. Moving it updates custom.wh_bin in the Matrixify export.
Use this only when intentionally changing the variant’s permanent home bin. TOP inventory should remain assigned to a complete bin in the same bay. Every exported Matrixify row preserves both final values: Warehouse On Hand and warehouse bin. If only one changes, the other is carried forward.
Finish safely
This does not change Shopify directly. The exported Matrixify CSV is locked to the inventory location selected when this audit started.
The Matrixify file contains one complete row per changed variant. Each row carries the final Warehouse On Hand and final warehouse bin, even when only one of those fields changed.
